Our view is simple; ideas without the will or ability to implement are of little value. However, there is equally little value in executing plans that are based upon insufficient planning. In creating value we believe passionately in spending time listening, understanding and developing the type of relationship with our clients where our thoughts – however challenging – can be assessed, considered and wherever appropriate implemented with confidence.
So, however the opportunity or challenge may be framed at the outset of any project discussion, our primary motivation is to understand how the digital challenge is currently manifested. This issue might be capable of being defined – a search engine optimisation or marketing issue; a lack of engaging interactive content; poorly performing affiliates or a lousy brand reputation online in social networks. Or sometimes not. The questions we are often asked are – “my site doesn’t get much traffic and I don’t know why”; “are my competitors doing better than me online?”; “can I expect email-based communication to perform as well as the traditional post?”; “is my target audience prepared to be engaged online?”.
We also ask a lot of questions and we listen to what you have to say. We may not have the answers but will go away and think a bit, then ask some more questions and look at the data – yours and what the market tells us. Then we come back and provide you with a provoking point of view.
Where we go next will depend on you. What you can rely upon is our thinking that will be robust and actionable – not typical consultant speak. We may agree that you want us to work with the teams in your business or your agency; you might want us to develop our thinking in an ideas workshop with your key stakeholders; we might have identified knowledge gaps and plan some training for individuals across your business; or finally you might like to just develop the relationship on a one-to-one basis in a coaching and mentoring capacity.
