Well so the first working day of February and the offline world comes to a standstill. The slightest alteration to the staus quo and our country grinds to a halt. Well it didn’t stop us learning about Shop Direct relaunching good old Woolies – even if they did lay off over 1000 staff last week. I suppose the brand can be run by half a dozen people in a call centre on Mersayside.

Thank goodness for the wonders of the internet  assuming our power isn’t picketed into submission. We can still keep in touch with whatever goes on beyond the world white web!
