Moira has over 25 years experience in the BBC, working as a television producer on a variety of shows from outside broadcasts to live studios. She also worked in BBC Training and Development running creativity and audience training as well as in all aspects of the tv production process. Moira also has wide ranging experience in media training, coaching and mentoring and for the last two years has worked as a Media Development Professional for Vision and Media in Manchester.
Moira is particularly passionate about working with young people, helping them to gain focus and improving their career development skills. Northern Lights, the highly successful multi-platform training course aimed at new entrants to the creative industries, was co-developed by Moira.
Moira is still working with the BBC as a freelance trainer in all aspects of TV production, most recently in HD for production. Moira also works with IBC (International Broadcast Conference) in Amsterdam organising training in their Production Village. She also works as a creative facilitator, running brainstorms and creative sessions for anyone who asks!
