Andrew Thomas

Andrew up until the end of 2008 was an Executive Director at Bounty and part of the management team that sold the business to the publicly listed Canadian company Kaboose. Bounty – now part of the Treehouse Group – is the leading direct marketing business focusing on expectant mothers and new parent households.

Andrew joined Bounty in 2005 to develop their e-business opportunity and commercialise what is the leading online meeting point for mums in the UK.

Andrew’s experience extends back over twenty years having joined BMP DDB in London in the late eighties, after completing five years as a captain in the British Army. He spent most of his advertising agency time working for McCann-Erickson in London and Manchester,

He founded McCann’s UK Network digital operation in Manchester in 1999. He ran the McCann-i operation until 2004 when he left to join Pavilion Communications as Managing Director – now part of the Hasgrove Group – until he joined Bounty in 2005.

On leaving Bounty at the end of 2008 Andrew established the green field, which has become a convenient wrapper for his portfolio of coaching, consulting and training activities. Since then, Andrew has incorporated being a Media Development Professional with Vision and Media; an Associate Coach with Winning Pitch on the Northwest Regional Development Agency’s High Growth Programme and certified trainer with Econsultancy.

He is currently a non-executive director of the digital agencies Fudge and Return on Digital. He recently completed eighteen months as an advisor and Non Executive Director at Chillingo, culminating in the sale of the business to Electronic Arts.

Andrew has a Post Graduate Diploma in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring. He is a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a qualified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®), FIRO-B® and DiSC® practitioner.
